Good Beginnings of Central Vermont invites parents and parents-to-be to our 5th annual Baby and Child Expo on Saturday, April 1 from 9 until 1 at the Berlin Elementary School.
Are you about to start a family? Come to the Good Beginnings Learning Center for bite-sized info sessions on pelvic floor health, pregnancy ‘super foods,’ cloth diapering, breastfeeding, and more...Parents-to-be can also connect with local midwives, doulas, and representatives from the CVMC and Gifford Birthing Centers. For those pursuing adoption, a representative from Friends in Adoption will be available to answer your questions.
Did you recently become a parent? Come to the Expo to discover what’s going on at the Washington County Family Center, have the folks from Be Seat Smart check your car seat installation, and connect with local parents’ groups, schools, and holistic and alternative health providers.
New this year: We’ll be showcasing one of MamaVa’s portable Lactation Suites and Rachel O’Donald of ActiveBody*ActiveBrain will offer a fun music and movement activity at 10 am.
As always: We’ll have lots of great prizes, fun kids’ activities, and a lunchtime performance by Rockin’ Ron the Friendly Pirate.
Admission for adults is only $8; as always, children are free.
