The Tropical Fish Club of Burlington's Annual Auction is Sunday Nov 3. Viewing starts at 10:30 and the auction starts at noon. VFW Hall, 176 South Winooski Ave, Burlington, VT.
Free admission, come check it out. There will be lots of locally raised tropical fish, live aquarium plants, new donated equipment and other related items like fish food, some used equipment - something for everyone! Over 200 lots of items registered so far including locally raised discus, angelfish, catfish, African cichlids, livebearers, killifish, community fish and many more. The Tropical Fish Club of Burlington meets at the VFW in Essex Jct. (the old Tower Pizza Restaurant building) the second Thursday of each month. Our next meeting is Thursday Nov 14 at 6:30pm and our speaker will be Larry Jinks from North Carolina presenting a program on South American Cichlids. There are several people in No. Hero & Grand Isle that belong to the club and go to the meetings each month so carpooling is possible!
