LICENSED NURSING ASSISTANT (LNA) Training

Nursing Assistant Training includes 90 hours of classroom instruction, LNA orientation, clinical practice, and state licensing exam prep. Class takes place at Gifford Medical Center and the Randolph Technical Career Center (see linked schedule for details). Clinical placements are at the Menig Extended Care Unit in Randolph Center. The course focuses on safe and effective practices in a healthcare setting. Students learn the basics of assisting patients, body mechanics, ethics, and communication, and then prepare for the licensing exam. The written and skills LNA licensing testing is done at RTCC. COMMERCIAL DRIVERS LICENSE (CDL) Training
Mon - Fri | 8am - 4pm
May 15 - June 12
Thanks to a grant from the DOL, we are able to offer a Class A CDL course at a discounted rate! Training is provided by Giroux General Transport. DOT physical, pre-enrollment drug testing, comprehensive permit study and testing, road testing, and license fees are included. Practice on a wide array of equipment, driving in cities and on highways. This course takes place at the Giroux training site in Berlin, VT. Class size limited to 8 participants.
