Blue Mountain Union School, Wells River, April 3, 2017: This presentation will be held from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Monday April 3, 2017. It is free and open to the public. Drug Recognition Experts, Sergeant James Roy of the Colchester Police Department and Lieutenant John Flannigan of the Vermont State Police, will explain how to identify illegal drugs, signs and symptoms of drug use; how alcohol and other drugs are affecting the communities we live in; how to talk to kids about drugs; and where to seek treatment.

Blue Mountain Union School is located at 2420 Route 302 in Wells River VT. Childcare and refreshments will be available. This is a collaboration between Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital and the St. Johnsbury Local Office of the Vermont Department of Health. Funding is made possible by the Regional Prevention Partnerships grant initiative; the result of a cooperative agreement with the US Department of Health and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
