 The Craftsbury Energy Committee will host an Efficiency Vt.  workshop “Slash Your Energy Bills,  Wed. 3/29, 6:45 - 8:30 at the Craftsbury Public Library.  The non-profit organizations NETO and Rural Edge will also share how they address the costs for low - moderate income families through the “no-cost”, qualifying, Federal Grants or subsidized costs with very low interest Federal loans.  Eff. Vt’s. “Best of the Best”, award-winning, local contractors Mark Snyder and Dylan Kinsey, will also be on hand to answer questions re. energy efficiency within Weatherization, new construction, and remodeling.
  The workshop will focus on the wide range of actions that Vermonters can take to lower their energy costs and improve comfort in their homes.  Energy improvement options will include: no-cost/low-cost energy tips, comprehensive weatherization, heat pumps, modern wood heat, and solar electricity.
  The non profit, Rural Edge also assists with Affordable Housing purchases and focuses on the health and safety within a home through assisting in the purchase of new or repairing of roofs, foundations, heating systems, water heaters, windows, electrical and plumbing, etc.
