Social Band, Burlington's lively band of singers, will put on a concert at Christ Church, Presbyterian in Burlington next weekend -- Saturday, November 9, at 7:30pm. What's the "quiet time of the year," you ask? This time of year, when fall has fallen, the leaves are off the trees. The commotion of the growing season has left the landscape and the immense, starry sky takes center stage. Now we take a little breath before the next rush of color and activity.

It is this time of year that Social Band explores in its fall concert series entitled “It is Time - songs of expectancy at the still point of the year.”
