This is an event for people who are looking for ways to join social change work, resistance, and activism. Over 25 groups will be presenting including NAACP, ACLU, Black Lives Matter, 350VT, Migrant Justice, and VT Interfaith Action. When you register, you pick four groups to hear from. At each session, you'll hear what they do, why they do it, and how you can get involved.
If you are already involved in grassroots social justice work, this is a great opportunity to find out what other groups are doing so we can all stay connected and collaborate when it makes sense.
Saturday, April 8, 9-3:30, at Burlington High School.
Registration closes on Wednesday. The cost is $20 for the public, $10 for people under 25, free for high school students. Please be in touch if cost if a barrier for you.
