Justice For All is working with the Judiciary Committee here in VT to establish a Racial Justice Oversight Board, whose goal will be to increase transparency and recommend best practices to address institutional racism in the criminal justice system. Racial disparities persist in Vermont and nowhere are they more impactful on our people of color than the criminal justice system. We must commission a board to do this vitally important work with a focus on expanding into labor, housing, education, health services and indeed the political process. NOW is the time that Vermonters take a stand!

House Judiciary is continuing to take testimony on H.492 this Tuesday and it is critical that we continue to make it clear that this is what the people want.
