The Vermont Italian Cultural Association (Vermont Italian Club) will sponsor an author talk at the South Burlington Community Library on Saturday, April 1st at 10:30 a.m.
     Lorraine Mangione, PhD, Director of Practica, Department of Clinical Psychology, Antioch University, is the co-author of Daughters, Dads, and the Path through Grief: Tales from Italian America.  Three major themes encompass the book:  The strong connections between daughters and dads throughout life, the process of grief and loss, and the impact of Italian-American culture on such relationships and loss.  Lorraine will have copies of her book available for sale and signing following the presentation.  This author talk is free and open to the public.
