VERMONT CHAMBER ARTISTS AGAINST CANCER

Do you enjoy music? Giving back to help a community? The brand new ensemble Vermont Chamber Artists performs choral music to support Dartmouth- Hitchcock’s Norris Cotton Cancer Center.

Concerts:
April 8th at 7:00pm at the Seven Stars Arts Center in Sharon, VT
April 9th at 7:00pm at the Thetford Hill Congregational Church Thetford, VT
Admission: $20.00 in advance for adults/ $10 per student/ $5 per child

Vermont Chamber Artists is a new group of 16 professional Vermont and New Hampshire choral singers dedicated to giving back to their community. Director Jessica Pierpont has chosen a selection of favorite works ranging from the Middle Ages to the 21st century. She uses each piece as an opportunity to explore creativity, and honor the composer’s intent while adding new and exciting elements into every performance. The first concert includes pieces by Thomas Tallis, Ola Gjeilo, Eric Whitacre and others. The goal is to donate half the proceeds to our community, this first season, supporting cancer research. VCA’s goal is to raise $6,000 through their GoFundMe campaign, https://www.gofundme.com/vt-chamber-artists-against-cancer to fund the concert series and cancer research at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center at DHMC.
