The film is produced by award winning documentary film producer Robert Kenner. It is based on the book & research by Harvard Prof. of History of Science & Affiliated Prof. of Earth & planetary sciences, Naomi Oreskes and science historian, Erik Conway. MERCHANTS OF DOUBT shows how fossil fuel corporations used a former tobacco industry type method to confuse the public about what is fact and fiction about the findings of climate science.
After the 90 min. film, viewers will be invited by Betsy Hardy, Coordinator of VT Interfaith Power and Light to share thoughts about the film, climate science, what needs to be done and find out what is happening in VT & GI County. A resource table will include info from Efficiency VT.
All are welcome and encouraged to come.
