This Saturday, March 25th at Brewster Pierce Memorial School
6:00pm potluck
6:30-8:00 movie showing of Before The Flood
8:00-8:30 invitation to stay for discussion on what we can do next
This community event, put on by your Huntington Energy Committee in conjunction with the Huntington Public Library, will be the first in a series of education events connected to energy use, carbon footprint, residential solar installation, affordable electric vehicle options and learning more about how Huntington residents would like to save on energy consumption and cost.
We will be handing out free LED light bulbs to all those who attend this first event!
*If you’re able, please bring a small food dish to share as well as your own plate/utensils; our goal is to make this a waste-free event* (while enjoying some yummy local food to benefit your waist!)
To learn more about this film and watch a preview before you join us, visit www.beforetheflood.com
It is our hope by sharing this moving film with fellow Huntington families, it will inspire and motivate others to join us in conversations and education opportunities within our community so we can work together to seek steps big and small and become a positive link in the big picture of global energy consumption.
We look forward to seeing you there.
If you are able, RSVP Ross Ogilvie at crogilvie54@gmail.com
