Join our town’s maple sugaring heritage celebration in a full day of free and affordable family fun - immersion in everything maple! Interactive and photographic displays, antique sugaring equipment, door prize drawings, “Maple Season Memories” photo contest, "Colors of Maple" quilt square contest and raffle, and scavenger hunt throughout the day. Pancake breakfast 8 – 10:30. Rug hooking demo 9-3. Experience the diverse sugaring operations in Lunenburg during the local sugarhouse tours 10 – 3 and the Lunenburg student-run sugaring operation at the school 10-4. Maple pie baking contest judging begins at 10:30 with pie sales immediately after winners are announced. Learn about backyard sugaring at the tree tapping demonstration held on the Lunenburg Common at 11. Enjoy homemade soups and bread lunch from noon – 3. Maple theme and Lunenburg gift items available for purchase, including A Wicked Good Run and Lunenburg T-shirts in a new color.
