Swing into Spring!
Benefit Swing Dance & Big Band Concert
Saturday evening, April 29 th at the Old Labor Hall, Barre

Come swing into spring and support local musicians of all ages! Green Mountain Swing , a 17-piece
band will play a benefit to raise funds for the Green Mountain Youth Symphony , central Vermont’s
local youth orchestra. Green Mountain Swing plays big band favorites in a variety of styles including
swing, Latin, blues, and funk. Young musicians from the Green Mountain Youth Symphony will be
joining Green Mountain Swing for a few numbers throughout the evening.
Live music starts at 7:30 pm .
Dance lessons are available from 6:45-7:30 pm thanks to Eric Recchia from Vermont Swings & Just for
Kicks. So come out early and learn a few new steps or brush up on old favorites.
If dancing makes you hungry and thirsty, have no fear!
