In the case that you’ve missed the recent public announcements, tomorrow night (Tuesday, March 21st) from 6pm-8pm, Secretary of State Jim Condos and Attorney General TJ Donovan will be holding the second public meeting of the Committee on Campaign Finance Education, Compliance and Reform here in Winooski at City Hall.
As a member of this Committee I can’t stress enough how important your input is in shaping the work of this Committee, and I’d love to see you there tomorrow night!
Our role on the Committee is to gather information, analyze Vermont’s current campaign finance law, and make recommendations with the goal of ensuring that our campaign finance laws promote transparency and openness for VT citizens. The first step is collecting public input. This is one of many meetings around the state. I strongly encourage you to attend and provide your input to help us shape these recommendations.
