Please Join the Charlotte Energy Committee at the Charlotte Library to learn all about the Community Energy Dashboard — Vermont’s new tool to help get us to 90% renewables by 2050! Bring your laptop if you want to get started using it right away.
The Community Energy Dashboard is an online tool that supports the state’s ambitious goal of meeting 90% of its energy needs through energy efficiency and renewable sources by 2050. The Dashboard helps translate Vermont's clean energy goal into achievable local action across all energy sectors — efficiency, heat, electricity, and transportation.
Join us for a public meeting lead by Rob Fish, field coordinator for the Dashboard, as we familiarize ourselves with the tool, discuss how Charlotte ranks in relation to other Vermont communities, and demonstrate how you can keep track of energy efficiency and renewable actions you take at your home, business, or farm.
The Dashboard was created by the Energy Action Network (EAN), Vermont Sustainable Jobs Fund, and Vermont Energy Investment Corporation with funding from VLITE, U.S. Department of Energy, and the Vermont Public Service Department. To experience the full suite of online tools, register today at www.vtenergydashboard.org.
If you can’t make the meeting but would like to know more, please get in touch with CEC co-chair Rebecca Foster, carpegreenum@gmail.com.
