We have a few great art opportunities on tap at the White Meeting House (aka the Congregational Church!). First, an exhibit through May 7th of paintings and sculpture by Carolyn Enz Hack of Thetford, VT. Called “Town by Town,” the work is based on landscape painting. The pieces are colorful, energetic paintings that explore the possibility of incorporating change in a place over time into their imagery.

Second, Carolyn will be offering a talk on her work on Friday, May 5th at 6:30 PM — free and open to the public. Grab an early supper and then stop by to find out more about her painting process, the connections between her abstract sculpture and her representative paintings, and get inspired about making your own art.

And third, on Saturday, May 6th, Carolyn will offer a two-hour workshop about expanding the boundaries of creative practice and developing one’s own artistic style. Anyone interested in boosting their creative capacity will enjoy participating in this discussion about methods, materials and practice. Cost is $15. Please contact the artist directly to find out more and to sign up.
