Island Arts/McKee’s St. Patrick’s Celebration This Sunday

The 5th Annual St. Patrick’s celebration to support the Island Arts Youth Scholarship Fund will take place this Sunday, March 19th, at McKee’s Island Pub and Pizza. Doors open at 5 p.m. with buffet meal at 6 p.m. that includes
corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots, Cesar salad, Irish soda bread and a fruited bread pudding that taste like more. There will plenty of food to go around and guests, as usual, will be encouraged to go back for seconds.
The silent auction is loaded with items donated by IA members and local businesses. The one that is generating the most excitement is a $200 gift certificate to the Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe. Among the many other items will be Vermont maple syrup, yoga lessons, Swiss chocolate, Ben & Jerry’s, Hero’s Welcome Gift Basket and gift certificates to McKee’s, Leunigs Bistro, North Hero House, Shore Acres, and Cook Sister Café & Catering. More are being added as the days go by.
Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at McKee’s Pub & Pizza, Hero’s Welcome in North Hero, and to reserve just call 802 372-8889 for pick up at IA office or at the door. Tickets are limited to 75 so don’t delay and be a part of this festive evening filled with friendship and good cheer.
