Jericho Planning Commission - Tuesday March 21

Past event
Mar 21, 2017, 7 to 9 PM

The Jericho Planning Commission has it's regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday March 21 at 7 :00 pm. Below is a summary of the agenda:

1) Public Comment - this is a time for the public to comment on items not on the agenda
2) Approval of February 21 Minutes
3) Annual Election of Officers. The PC will elect a chair and clerk.
4) Land Use and Development Draft changes- the PC will review the "low hanging fruit" changes. These are the changes that are the less controversial ones. A list of the proposed changes and why the changes were made can be found on the Planning Commission section of the town website (jerichovt.gov). The Planning Commission may warn these changes for a public hearing. Possible dates for that hearing is April 18 or May 2. The proposed changes are and will be available for viewing on the Town website, but we will send them out and explain the changes via FPF as well.
5) Planning 101 - The PC would like to explain a bit more about why we plan in Jericho and Vermont. They will discuss the way to communicate this information.
6) Public Outreach - The PC desires to get public input from folks in town about planning issues. They will discuss some ideas of how to make this happen.

Please feel free to view the full agenda on the town website (jerichovt.gov) or contact Katherine Sonnick with any questions.
