Motivational Interviewing for Substance Use: Skills and Strategies community-based free 2-part workshop, March 30th and April 6th in the Mt. Ascutney Hospital Board Room from 9am - 12pm. Presented by: Artie Seelig, trainer and quality assurance coordinator for the Vermont’s Screening, Brief Interventions and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) grant.

The goal of this workshop is to introduce the Motivational Interviewing (MI) approach, develop the capacity to use MI with clients who report drug or alcohol use, and to practice these skills in a meaningful way.
