Since purchasing the Old Lantern in 2006, we have been met with opposition from the same neighbors who bought their properties right next to the Old Lantern.
We think the problem is that the Town of Charlotte never included the Old Lantern in its Zoning Laws. The neighbors say that it is a residential area, yet, as all of you know, has always been an active vibrant business for over 60 years!
They can say this, because there is no laws protecting the Old Lantern.
