A study group is currently being formed with the intention of extended, in-depth engagement with some challenging topic, be it in philosophy, ethics, art, science, politics, history, etc. Topics of study could also be based on an essay or a book that is being discussed in the New York Review Of Books, which usually covers a broad range of subjects.

I imagine meeting every two weeks for a few hours, reading a text aloud together, discussing it and exploring our questions and thoughts and responses.

The first exploratory meeting is next Thursday (3/23) at 6pm at my house in Charlotte. We will discuss regular meeting times and our topic.
