“Old Bones” Benefit Concert
April 1st at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Bristol the “Old Bones” Country Gospel singers will give their ninth annual concert to benefit orphans and vulnerable young people at Village2VillageProject in Uganda. Over the years they have raised money to help build a clinic, a home for a needy family, food, school fees and much more, thanks to your generous donations.
Adding to the fun evening at 5:30 p.m. the First Baptist Church of Bristol will be offering a shepherd’s pie supper with brownie a la mode for dessert. Adults $10, children 6-12 $5, children 5 and under are free. All proceeds benefit Village2VillgeProject. A free will offering will be taken at the concert.
The Village2VillageProject, started in Bristol, but now supports over 115 orphans and vulnerable young people with the help of people from all over the world. Because of it these children, their guardians and the community now have hope in a brighter future. The donations raised at the concert will go to helping with medical expenses of the children in need. For more details as to what V2V does, check out their web page at village2villageproject.org
