“Living in Hope Through Tough Times”

Come to the concert at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where Paul will offer inspiring songs, original and from the solitary tradition, sung in both English and Spanish. He follows in the footsteps of Woody Guthrie, Mercedes Sosa, and John Lennon who ‘imagined’ the great dream through tough times. “Today that music is needed more than ever to re-affirm beauty, hope and passion; to counter fear and bigotry; to celebrate the best in us and to move us into action.”

Paul lives in Nicaragua and is on a fundraising tour. Your donations will help support Paul’s development projects there that are designed to create a better life for families in the barrios (neighborhoods). Paul is an experienced singer, lecturer, discussion facilitator and preacher.

These are some of the works that can be funded: local health, education and ecology projects; construction of community waste water drainage; building with recycled plastic bottles; emergency relief, and more. A special Nicaraguan project called Nags, Nippers and Mother Earth, combines abused children with abused ponies in tenderness on an organic ecological farm. This fosters healing and life back into the city slums through a center for animal care and for teaching good environmental practices. The concert begins at 7:30 PM. Parking on site and handicap accessible at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 273 VT Route 15 near the intersection with Brown’s Trace Road. 802-899-3932.

On Sunday, March 26 @ 9:00 AM Paul is preaching and singing at the worship service; at 10 AM join the Sunday School for more about Nags, Nippers and Mother Earth.
