The Waterbury Public Library will be running a series of “DIY” workshops in April.
Always wanted to try your hand at sugaring but didn’t know where to start? Now is your opportunity to take a step back in time and sugar the old-fashioned way. Meet at the Warren Church parking lot, Sunday, April 2nd at 11:45. We’ll car pool up West Hill Road to West Hill Sugar Orchard, meet the crew, gather the sap, check out the boiling and bottling and taste the sweetness of your labors soaked over home-made French Toast.
