The 14th Annual Defenders vs. Enforcers Benefit Hockey Game will be held at 6:00 p.m. this Saturday, 18 March 2017, at the Essex High School Skating Facility in Essex Junction, VT. Proceeds from the event go to assist the families of Vermont Soldiers and Law Enforcement Officers through the Vermont National Guard Charitable Foundation and the Vermont Police Association. This fun filled family friendly event features games for the kids including “Chuck a Puck” and “Shoot a Puck”. Several local mascots will be on hand for children’s enjoyment, as well. First ever Cartoonist Laureate of Vermont, James Kochalka, will sing the “Hockey Monkey” song he co-authored with the Zambonis. Over $1000 worth of Door Prizes and Raffle Items include many signed hockey memorabilia collectibles. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the door for $5 each.
