Come and celebrate St Patrick's Day at the Waterville Town Hall this Saturday, March 18, from 4pm til the music stops! The Waterville Irish Heritage Ceili (pronounced cay-lee) is sure to be a fun-filled evening of Irish music, food, dancing and magic! Music by Patrick Webb will begin at 4pm. Dinner will be served at 5pm, highlights include, stout and maple glazed corned beef and cabbage, Irish beef stew with herb dumplings, meat pies, colcannon and much more. I am getting hungry writing this post. The Dale and Darcy Cahill Band will play, and the Heather Morris Celtic Dancers will step dance, Christopher McBride, sleight of hand artist will entertain. To top the evening off, Melissa Rose Chase, the "Rose of Waterville" will sing a ballad or two.
There will be raffle prizes; a chance to win an all expense paid trip to Ireland, a plane ride to ME for a lobster dinner, a sail around Valcour Island and lunch, a dinner and snowshoe up Smuggs, door prizes and more.
All proceeds to benefit the AAU/Vermont Rapids Basketball Club. Hope to see you there, neighbors!
