Arthur V. Gilman, Author of "New Flora of Vermont" speaks on selected botanical subjects relevant to Vermont. Art will explore some of interesting Vermont plants in depth - from ferns to orchids to roses to asters, including a few "new items" not in the New Flora book. Art will share interesting plant stories from Vermont, discuss invasive species, and highlight relevant aspects of our environment.

Art Gilman is a principal in the firm of Gilman & Briggs Environmental, specializing in threatened and endangered plants throughout northern New England.
