Join us for an evening of poetry, music, stories, and dance dedicated to social justice!
The Art House, in partnership with the Hazen Union student group Stand-Up, presents the second annual “Raise Your Voice!” event on Friday, March 24, 6:30 PM - 9 PM at Heartbeet Lifesharing in Hardwick. (218 Town Farm Rd)
Featuring: Reuben Jackson of VPR, Bobby Farlice Rubio of Trittium Well, Maura Gahan of Bread & Puppet, Sterling College students, local poets & musicians, and Hazen Union student performers. This event is organized by the Hazen Union based program Stand-Up, for social justice. All donations will go to support their work towards raising awareness and tolerance through education. The evening will highlight Hazen Union students and the many different cultures within the Hardwick community. The night will end with refreshments and a dance party!
This event is open to the public and is supported in part by the Ben & Jerry’s Community Action Team Grant.
