Do you try and make environmentally conscious choices in your life? Are you aware of the impact the resources we use have on our air, water, and soil? Are you concerned about protecting the planet for future generations? Then come to The Brownell Library on Saturday, March 18 from 3:00-4:30pm to learn about bill to change the mandatory minimum burial depth in Vermont and the environmental benefits of making green burial an option for all Vermonters. This educational program is hosted by end of life specialist and green burial educator Michelle Acciavatti and wildlife biologist and green burial advocate Carl Anderson. It will include a screening of the short documentary “Dying Green,” a brief presentation about burial depth, and plenty of time for questions and discussion. There are over 150 green burial cemeteries in 29 states, it’s time for Vermont to join them!
