The Vermont Low Income Advocacy Council invites everyone concerned about the needs of low income Vermonters to the State House on Friday. This is going to be a tough budget year—and threatened federal cuts could be disastrous for our low income neighbors. Showing up on Friday is a way to let our lawmakers know we care. Legislative advocate Karen Lafayette has prepared a morning program that ends with a noon meeting with advocates and legislators—in Room 10, with bag lunches provided compliments of Bethany Church.
