What: The heART of Montpelier Gallery: A Pop Up Museum
Why: To kick off planning for public art in Montpelier
Who: Anyone who loves Montpelier and art!
You may have heard that the city of Montpelier won a $50K grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, part of a $164,000 project to plan for and install public art.
The planning will span many months and involve all segments of the community. Help jump-start the process by participating in “The heART of Montpelier Gallery” at City Hall, from 6 to 7:30 p.m on March 21.
Bring something that demonstrates what makes Montpelier special to you: A photo, a piece of sports equipment, a leaf from a favorite tree, the bag you take to the Farmers Market...imaginative thinking encouraged!.
Anyone who lives near, works in, shops at, drives through or otherwise has a stake in Montpelier is welcome to participate.
