The City Council will meet on Monday 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in Contois Auditorium. The first item on the regular city council meeting agenda is an annual presentation from John Tashiro on City Market's cooperative success and evolution. Our deliberative agenda includes consideration of a special event outdoor permit application from Citizens Cider for an event being held on March 18, 2017, consideration of a proposed ordinance change on major impact review, appointment of Stephen Locke, Fire Chief, to a Joint Survey Committee considering the potential regionalization of public safety dispatch center and adoption of the sale criteria for Burlington Telecom. Public forum will be held at 7:30 p.m.
Following the regular city council meeting, the council will convene as the Board of Civil Authority to ratify the appointment of assistant election officials. The Council will then convene as the local control commission to consider an application from Citizens Cider for an outdoor consumption permit for the event scheduled for March 18, 2017. Finally, the council will convene as the Board of Tax Abatement to consider the recommendations of the Board of Tax Abatement Committee on requests for tax abatement from four residents.
