We're very excited to announce our upcoming Newport screenings of Freedom & Unity: The Vermont Movie at the Gateway Center this over the next five weeks - see below.. Freedom & Unity is a brand-new collaborative six-part film series documenting the state's rich history and culture. It is the first Vermont-made film to examine the values and themes, over history to the present day, which define our state and its people. Rather than a chronological history, Freedom & Unity is a multidimensional portrait of the state made from many voices, sounds, colors, maps, music, animations, archival photos and film footage.
