Great Day of Singing Comes to Waterbury!

Past event
Mar 25, 2017, 9:30 AM to 3 PM

This FREE event is open to all singers, conductors, educators, and lovers of the choral arts. Join us as we raise our voices in song and celebrate beautiful music in our Vermont community.
Come enjoy singing along with choir members from across the state, as we explore a delightful and varied selection of sacred and secular pieces. All singers are welcome, regardless of experience level!
This year, we move to the historic White Church in downtown Waterbury at the top of Bank Hill: 8 North Main Street, starting at 9:30 am and concluding at 3:00 pm.

We're pleased to have conductors and teachers from across the state leading us in song:
Arthur Zorn, Mad River Chorale, Bethany Church Montpelier
Alan Rowe, North Country Chorus, St. Johnsbury Academy
Lori Routhier, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Rutland
Eddie Wilkin, Slate Valley Singers, Fair Haven Union High School, Grace Congregational Church Rutland

And, for insight to vocal technique and healthy singing, we're excited learn from a wonderful, engaging singer and teacher:
Sarah Cullins, University of Vermont voice faculty

We're excited to hold this year's "sing" in a central Vermont location (in the past, we've met in Burlington and Rutland).
We request a $5 donation at the door, but that's completely voluntary. For a mid-day meal, you may bring your own lunch or take advantage of local eateries.
