CONTRACTORS --- Please join us for our annual ADA/bid seminar for projects funded through the Vermont Center for Independent Living’s Home Access Program (HAP). Tuesday, March 21, 9:30a-12:30p in Rutland or Wednesday, March 22, 9:30a-12:30p in St. Johnsbury. Reserve a seat at the location of your choice and details will be sent with your confirmation.

Our program helps fund bathroom modifications, ramps and other accessibility modifications in homes throughout the state for low income Vermonters who have permanent disabilities. The location of some of these projects are still undetermined. Other funders and partners may be present.

During the seminar, topics to be covered include: Overview of VCIL’s Home Access Program, How to talk to and work with people who have disabilities, Contractor’s roundtable about what it is like working on HAP jobs, Buffet lunch (provided on site), Overview of paperwork process and payments.
