Come to the Living Library! A wide variety of living “books” (local people) share personal stories that may challenge assumptions or preconceived notions of who they really are.
You can choose from:
Hidden From the Nazis: A Family Found Through Facebook (Marianne Pannelli);
Being a "Have-Not" in a "Have" Town (Erica Marthage);
Serving in Iraq: True Stories (Dave Matteson);
On the Frontline of the Refugee Crisis (Mary Allen);
Modern Day Witch (Stephen Niles);
Serving the Poorest of the Poor in Africa (Sarah Hadden); and
Overcoming Rheumatoid Arthritis and Climbing Everest (Carlin Scherer).
There will be three sessions: 1 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM.
Select one living "book" per time slot. The living "books" will share their stories with small groups of people.
Space is limited at this free event. Reception will follow.
