Looking for the perfect antidote to the end of winter doldrums? Mr. Punch says, “Stop at the Blinking Yellow Light Theater!” Modern Times Theater presents a Mr. Punch puppet show trilogy in downtown Hardwick, Vermont.
See Punch, Judy, and their whole gang of hilarious hand-made friends not once, not twice, but three times, in three different shows three weeks in a row. It’s puppet melodrama that is sure to entertain both kids and their parents. Each show features live music, prize giveaways, a pre-show gramophone dance party, popcorn, cider, and, of course, the most spectacular puppet show this side of the Connecticut River. It’s Saturday morning cartoons, LIVE!
Modern Times Theater is Rose Friedman and Justin Lander. They are producers of Vermont Vaudeville, and have been performing puppet shows together since 2008.
Performances are March 11, 18, and 25 at 2:00 pm at the Blinking Yellow Light Theater (the Gohl Building), 101 South Main Street in downtown Hardwick, Vermont. Good for all ages, a suggested donation of $5 will be asked at the door.
