Tonight, Thursday, March 9, at 7:00 p.m., at the Maple Corner Community Center there will be a special Calais Conservation Commission meeting at which ecologist Matt Peters will present his report on Phase 2 of the Calais Natural Resource Inventory. His presentation last year on Phase 1 was fascinating. Anyone interested in finding out what amazing natural resources we have in our town should not miss this. This will be the opportunity to hear from Matt how he went about doing his inventory and an explanation of what he found, and to ask him questions. A link to the report will be also be put on the Town's website, and there will be a few copies of the report available at the presentation to look through. The report is 81 pages long and quite expensive to print because of all the color images, so this year there will be only a limited number of paper copies available and they will have to be shared.
