The League of Women Voters of Central Vermont is hosting a special
meeting in Montpelier to introduce you to The League and its positions. If
you have heard about the League and would like to know more about us, this
is your opportunity. The League was founded by suffragists just before women won
the right to vote. They were an indomitable bunch of females who literally risked
life and limb to gain the franchise.

Ninety-seven years later, the League is still at work protecting voter rights,
defending the environment, exposing the power of money in politics, and
more. Come and learn what we do and how we do it. The League is open to all
women and men over the age of 16.
