Hinesburg Artist Series 20th Anniversary Concert Sunday March 19th
The Hinesburg Artist Series began in 1997 with a performance of Requiem by John Rutter at the United Church of Hinesburg. The featured artist was soprano Guilaine Senecal a Burlington High School graduate and former student of Rufus Patrick. For 20 years the Hinesburg Artist Series has provided, and will continue to provide opportunities for the community to experience and celebrate the arts.

This year the March 19th concert will feature the South County Chorus and Hinesburg Artist Series Orchestra under the direction of Rufus C. Patrick in a performance of the Magnificat by John Rutter, Festival Te Deum by René Clausen, Hine Ma Tov by Alan Naplan, and Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace by Mary McDonald.
The featured guest soloist will be soprano Amy Frostman. She will be joined by other soloists including Gary Moreau, Bass; Amy Patrick, Alto; Dan Frostman, Oboe; and Margaret Roddy, Clarinet. The concert will be held on Sunday, March 19, 4:00p.m. at St Jude Church in Hinesburg. Tickets will be $20 for adults, and $15 for seniors and students. Tickets will be available through Flynntix , the Hinesburg Rec Department, Blue Cottage Gifts, and at the door.
