Wondering how to tend your fruit trees so they are productive and healthy? Whether you are reclaiming a wild apple tree or managing new saplings, careful pruning is key. Come learn the basics of fruit tree pruning and care from Lamoille County Forester, Rick Dyer, at Kelly Murphey & Rachel Fussell's orchard at the SLT-conserved Burnham Farm. Bring clippers or a pruning saw and gloves if you have them; extra equipment will be provided. Dress to be outdoors and for cold temperatures.
