Save the Date for the 2017 Montpelier Concert Crawl on April 1st, 6-9 pm, by the Montpelier Chamber Orchestra. Walk from house to house in Montpelier's Liberty Street Neighborhood for music, wine, gourmet food and community.
“Breakfast” with Old Sky; Andrew Stearns (guitar) and Shay Gestal (violin) weave together melodies and harmonies in the traditions of folk, honky-tonk and bluegrass. Menu: Egg frittatas, ham, croissants, blueberry muffins, bloody Mary, strawberry moscato punch and orange juice.
MCO String Quartet; Cathy Metz, Dru Macy, Alison Anand and Andreas Lehner will perform a classical quartet, a Joplin rag and a tango. Menu: Gravlax with mustard sauce, beef in philo triangles, mushroom crostine, dark chocolate bites, and red and white wines.
Strings and Swing; Energetic violinist Jason Bergman joins forces with Red Hot Juba’s renowned guitarist D. Davis for an eclectic mix of Texas swing, jazz and whatever else might strike them at the moment. Menu: selection of finger sandwiches, vegetable crudités, scones with clotted cream and jam, tea cakes and pastries, hot tea and sparkling wine.
