INTRODUCTION TO BEEKEEPING

March 9, 16, and 23

Over the length of this class we will get you ready to start independently managing your own hive of bees. The class is targeted to the individual with no prior experience in beekeeping. Topics covered in the class include honeybee biology, beekeeping equipment, hive management, common problems, and harvests. Opportunities will exist in the spring for students to attend a demonstration of establishing a new hive of bees. $65
