VERMONT PHILHARMONIC FAMILY CONCERT – “MUSIC THROUGH THE AGES”
With the Green Mountain Youth Symphony
Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 2 PM at the Barre Opera House
The Vermont Philharmonic with Conductor Lou Kosma will be performing selections from Gabrieli, Handel, Haydn, Tschaikowsky and Cervetti.
The Green Mountain Youth Symphony with Conductor Robert Blais will perform “How to Train Your Dragon”. Student composer Emily Sinnott will perform her “Starlit Waltz”
The VPO and GMYS will combine to perform the “1812 Overture” with audience participation.
Artwork from St. Johnsbury Elementary School students will also be featured.
Ticket prices are $15 Adults, $12 Seniors, $5 Students 18 and under and are available through the Barre Opera House or at the door.
