What do you do with your pumpkin after Halloween? Does it rot into a mushy ball on your front stoop? If so, then you should be getting ready for the greatest pumpkin event ever! Please join us on Saturday, November 2 for the second annual SQUASH HUNGER.

On November 2, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, the VYCC is hosting Squash Hunger to thank the community for their help and support of the VYCC’s Agricultural Leadership Program. There will be games and activities aplenty, including pumpkin bowling, potato sack races, face painting, pumpkin seed spitting contests, and, of course, the chance to throw pumpkins out of the barn at targets below.

A delicious farm lunch will be served ($6 for soup and salad, $8 includes a brat). And, there will be a pie contest judged by local celebrities – please bring a pie to enter (and to share!)

Suggested donation, $10 per adult, $20 per family.
