Do you try and make environmentally conscious choices in your life? Are you aware of the impact the resources we use have on our air, water, and soil? Are you concerned about protecting the planet for future generations? Then come to Peacham Library on Thursday, March 9 at 7pm to learn about Bill H.3 and the environmental benefits of making green burial an option for all Vermonters.

This educational program is presented by end-of-life specialist and green burial educator, Michelle Acciavatti, wildlife biologist and green burial advocate, Carl Anderson, and Suzanne Kelly, Chair of the town of Rhinebeck Hybrid Cemetery and author of Greening Death. The program will include a screening of the short documentary “Dying Green,” a brief presentation about burial depth, and plenty of time for questions and discussion.
