Green Mountain Animal Defenders will be hosting its 30th anniversary gala on Saturday, November 16th, at the Double Tree Hotel in South Burlington.
Keynote speaker Wayne Pacelle, president and CEO of the Humane Society of the United States, is nationally renowned for his humane achievements. Special guest speaker, Chris Bohjalian, is a critically acclaimed Vermont writer and New York Times best-selling author.
Festivities include a gourmet vegan/vegetarian buffet dinner and silent-auction fund-raiser featuring a Smugglers Notch Bash Badge; gift certificates to Vermont restaurants; gift baskets from Seventh Generation, Healthy Living, and City Market, lift tickets to Stowe Mountain; designer dog beds by Rags and Riches; and a beautiful selection of signed artwork and books by local talent.
