This weekend, March 4th and 5th, the Vermont Fencing Alliance hosts the annual Middlebury Open Fencing Tournament at Mary Hogan School. Local fencers from 8 to 80 will face off against fencers from all over New England, New York, and Quebec. Spectators of all ages are welcome, free of charge. There will be a free program booklet explaining the rules of fencing and what to watch for.

Saturday March 4
9:00 AM Youth foil, Veteran foil
11:30 AM Unrated mens and womens foil
1:30 PM Open foil (finals around 4:30–6:00 PM)
Sunday March 5
9 AM Youth epee, Veteran epee
11:30 AM Unrated mens and womens epee
11:30 AM Open saber (finals around 1–2 PM)
1:30 PM Open epee (finals around 5–6:30 PM)
