Colbyville Pedestrian/Bicycle Scoping Study Public Work Session #2

The Town and Village of Waterbury are hosting another public work session on the study of the potential addition of sidewalks or other walking and bicycling facilities in Colbyville on THURSDAY, MARCH 9, 2017. The work session will start at 7:00 PM in the Steele Community Room at the Municipal Center at 28 North Main Street.

This work session will let participants see what alternatives the Town’s project Steering Committee and consultant have developed for increasing walking and bicycling conditions in Colbyville. The primary focus of the study is along Route 100 from the Stowe Street/Blush Hill intersection to the Crossroad/Laurel Lane intersection. It is also considering those intersecting roads, along with Lincoln Street and the Park and Ride lot.

The goal of the second public work session is to select one or more of the alternatives as preferred for actual implementation. Come to this work session to participate in the discussion and be part of the process of selecting which improvements for walking and bicycling, if any, might be made in Colbyville in the near future.

To look at the alternatives ahead of the meeting, visit the Town Website and look for the link to the Colbyville Pedestrian/Bicycle Scoping Project under the Latest News. Alternatively, go to the Broadreach Planning & Design website: www.broadreachpd.com, select Projects/Current and then Colbyville.
